Scaling Fundraising Through Operational Clarity: What Nonprofits Gain with Charity Automator

Manual data work is draining your team’s energy. Charity Automator gives it back.

Charity Automator is a fully managed solution that helps nonprofit teams automate fundraising operations: data syncing, reporting, and real-time insights. It is used by organizations across North America to reduce manual effort, eliminate friction, and scale with confidence.

Why It’s Time to Rethink Manual Work

Most nonprofits face the same challenges:

  • Gift entry is duplicated across systems
  • BI reports are time-consuming to generate
  • Leadership lacks a single, reliable view of performance

These issues consume staff time, delay decisions, and reduce fundraising capacity.

Charity Automator provides the infrastructure to fix it. The result is an operations environment that is faster, cleaner, and ready to scale.

Charity Automator in Action: From Data Entry to Strategic Insight

Charity Automator is made up of two fully managed solutions: Data Flow and Data Warehouse. Together, they transform how nonprofits collect, manage, and use data.

Charity Automator Data Flow

Data Flow automates the movement of data between platforms used across fundraising, finance, and engagement. It functions like an in/out module. We can read data from various systems and write that data into target systems: Raiser's Edge NXT and Blackbaud Luminate Online. Every workflow is built and managed by SimpliPhi.

Key indicators for considering the Charity Automator Data Flow:

  • Frequent manual imports and exports between systems
  • High-volume transactions (2,000+ annually)
  • Well-defined, repeatable processes that could be automated

Charity Automator Data Warehouse

The Data Warehouse is your nonprofit’s single source of truth. It pulls together data from multiple systems into a centralized, analysis-ready environment. Unlike Data Flow, which moves data between tools, the Data Warehouse is designed to collect and store it in one place for long-term analysis. It ingests data from platforms such as Raiser's Edge NXT,  Financial Edge NXT,  Luminate Online, Encompass (iModules), MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Database. With the latest product update, we began supporting Salesforce as a Data Source as well.

New: Calculated Data Tables summarize critical donor and revenue data like total giving, largest gift, and first and last gift, without requiring teams to build or maintain SQL models.

Organizations like The Salvation Army are already using these prebuilt tables to reduce Power BI refresh times, eliminate manual SQL queries, and make high-level insights accessible to fundraisers and executives alike.

Key indicators for considering the Charity Automator Data Warehouse:

  • You rely on spreadsheets for insights
  • You've reached the limits of your CRM’s built-in reporting
  • You need reliable, real-time dashboards

Built for Nonprofits

SimpliPhi has spent over two decades helping fundraising teams simplify fundraising operations. Charity Automator is the result of that experience.

When data is clean and systems work together, teams focus less on fixing problems and more on driving strategy.

Your mission deserves a stronger operational foundation. We are here to help you build it. To explore how Charity Automator can support your operations contact William da Silva at william@simpliphi.io for a free 1:1 evaluation of your processes.
